Draft — pending legal review
This text is a working draft that describes how the service is designed to handle data. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a final legal document.
These terms apply when you use Crowd Pics, as a host who creates an event or as a guest who uploads photos. By using the service you accept them.
The service
Crowd Pics lets hosts collect photos from their guests through a private link and turns them into a digital album.
The service is free during the launch period. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and nothing you already use will be charged without your agreement.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 to create an account and host an event.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Guests do not need an account.
Your responsibilities
- Hosts share the event link only with people they invite, and let guests know how the photos will be used.
- Hosts make sure they may collect the photos, especially photos of children, and respect guests who ask for a photo to be removed.
- Guests upload only photos they took themselves or have the right to share.
- Content that is illegal or violates the rights of others is not allowed.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
Your photos remain yours
Uploading photos does not transfer ownership to Crowd Pics. We use them only to provide the service to the host.
You allow us to store, copy, enhance and arrange the photos only as needed to run the service and make the album, and only for as long as they are kept.
Removing content
To report content that is illegal or violates your rights, write to us at the address below. We may remove such content and suspend accounts that break these terms.
The album and availability
- The album is put together automatically. We aim for the best result, but we cannot promise that every photo will be included or that every choice will suit your taste. The host can remove photos and produce the album again.
- Events and their photos are deleted at the end of the retention period described in the privacy policy. Download your album and keep your own copy.
- We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect losses or for content that users upload. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email hosts at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law and courts of the country where you live.
